The new year is here and I’ve made the first step to fulfilling my New Year’s resolution. A real office has been established with all my writing paraphernalia. The walls have been painted a cheerful, creative inspiring yellow. Bookcases added to hold my reference materials. A scheduled writing time has been established, and warnings issued to all who may violate it. I’m feeling positive about 2007 and can’t wait to see what romantic stories I dream up.

The Politics of Love is being released this month, so I wait with anticipation to see what readers will think. I’m trying to develop that tough skin all writers should possess, but I’m human and want everyone to love what I write as much as I do. Oh well the cover is beautiful. The hero and heroine actually resemble the characters I created. Did I mention the guy on the cover is gorgeous?

Speaking of guys, my wonderful husband is due home in ninety-four days. Can you tell that I’m excited? Well, my new writing schedule calls, and I’ve promised to adhere to the allotted time, so I’m off.
